![]() | What is the K9 Kup? It is a fun competition for dogs, handlers and
| judges for the purpose of gaining trial experience while being part of a team.Teams are invited from dog agility training centers throughout the local region. It's considered a stepping stone for dogs and their people into the world of agility competition. | ||
![]() | Four matches are held each year, usually one a month from June to
| September . Each match includes a standard Starters course plus two games of the 5 recognized by the AAC (Jumpers, Gamblers, Snooker, Team relay, & Steeplechase). Teams are usually by local clubs. | ||
![]() | On The Day Of The Meet . Meals-In the past we have encouraged a
| pot-luck lunch for our team and volunteers during the meet. Each person brings a dish and we share these at lunch. It has worked out very well and adds to the fun and enjoyment. Bring your own drinks or special dietary needs. No alcohol. A Krazy Kanines member usually supplies a dining tent and a large container of fresh water. | ||
![]() | Plenty of outhouse facilities on site, dog pool & hose.
![]() | Volunteers-Each team must supply two (2) volunteers for each match. If
| your volunteers for the day are also members of your team, those 2 people will forfeit running their dogs for that match. When the team captains pick up their attendance forms in the morning, they must also let the K-9 Kup coordinator know who will be their volunteers that day. | ||
![]() | If a team fails to provide volunteers on the day of the event they will be
| disqualified and not allowed to run. |
