Courses
Agility courses are offered at 3 different levels:
Beginner Agility
Foundations
Agility
Beginner Agility: this class focuses on obstacle performance. Each dog will be
introduced and taught how to perform each obstacle properly from the start.
Puppies will be shown on adjusted equipment as to not put any pressure on
growing bodies. This class is open to any dogs that have never been on agility
equipment or would like to re-teach obstacle performance. The Foundation class is
highly recommended before starting any obstacle performance but is not required.

Foundations: This class is designed to teach both dog and handler how to
"understand" the foot work of agility. It teaches each handler how to cue front & rear
crosses, shadow handling, attention exercises, recalls, and drive. This class
teaches the dog to read your body language and teaches the handler how to show
the dog what you want without "speaking" cues. There are very few obstacles in this
class, mainly jumps and/or tunnels. This class is open to any dog/puppy that has
never done agility and also open to seasoned dogs/handler teams that wish to
re-train the foundation skills.

Agility: This class is for any dog/handler teams that have completed beginner
agility or an equivalent. This class will focus on fine tuning obstacle performance
and begin teaching sequencing, games and strategy.
